“Our guide was very nice. The food itself was good. However, every dish was rice, red beans and rice, gumbo with a lot of rice, and jambalaya then a praline at the end. I understand this is Louisiana, I am from Louisiana, rice is a big part of the food but it would have been nice to experience dishes that were not all made of essentially the same ingredients. Isn't variety one of the points of a food tour? For the price of the food tour, close to $200 for two people, this was one of the most dissappointing ones that I have been on.
